Everyday in August
This virtual exhibition represents the culmination of Everyday in August, bosscritt's first daily drawing project. As the title suggests, the artists in this show committed to drawing every day during the month of August. We met weekly for conversation, critique, and curatorial planning. This simple premise created the fertile ground on which community grew. With the support of the group, some artists ventured deeper into their existing practice, while others pushed themselves to try something completely new. In this digitally centric era, Everyday in August's community structure served as a balm, a catalyst, and a welcoming home. We hope you enjoy this selection of the resulting works.
